Dear Church,

The sermon on the Sabbath last week with the theme “The Feast of Trumpets and the Blessed Hope” was being prepared by us for more than two weeks before that. On Sunday, 14/09/2025, while I was uploading the sermon video to YouTube, I saw some videos speaking about the confirmation that the Lord Jesus will come at the Feast of Trumpets 2025. I opened them and watched and saw that some people were confirmed in dreams or in vision, and some died and came back to life and saw confirmation in visions. Those people ranged from children to middle-aged and even very elderly ones, both men and women. Those testimonies all referred to the proclamation of a man in South Africa, named Joshua, that the Lord Jesus will come to take the Church out of the world at the Feast of Trumpets this year, on the dates 23–24/09/2025. And I also saw the video of Joshua’s proclamation [1].

I have never believed those occasions when this person or that person proclaimed the day of the Lord’s coming. For I know clearly, according to the Bible, mankind can only compare the Word of God with current events in order to know the “season” of the Lord’s coming, that is, to know around what time frame He will come. But no one can know the day and hour of His coming. Even if we know that the Lord will come during the Feast of Trumpets, it is still impossible to know which year it will be. I consider such proclamations about the day of the Lord’s coming to be nothing but deception meant to “attract viewers” by certain people. They are those who deliberately spread sensational news, hoping that many will watch their videos so that they may thereby receive more advertising revenue. But I also wanted to take a look at the video of Joshua’s proclamation.

After watching, my first impression was that Joshua’s proclamation could be believed, except for one point that many people opposed—his assertion of the exact date of the Lord’s coming. But in reality, he did not say that he calculated the date of the Lord’s coming; rather, he said that the Lord Jesus appeared to him and directly told him:

“Since Israel became a nation in 1948, there will be 77 years until the Exodus. On September 23 and 24, 2025, I will come to take My Church.”

We may raise this question: If it is the Lord Jesus Himself who wants to reveal to mankind that He will come to take the Church out of the world at the Feast of Trumpets in 2025, then who can say that it must not be so?

In reality, even if we know that the Lord Jesus will come at this year’s Feast of Trumpets, no one can know the exact hour and day of His coming. For the Feast of Trumpets lasts two days. The Lord may come on either of those two days. Moreover, at the very moment of His coming, the hour and day will differ for God’s people in various parts of the earth. While it is still the 23rd in the Western Hemisphere, it will already be the 24th in the Eastern Hemisphere. That is why the Lord said that at the time of His coming, some will be working in the field, some will be grinding at the mill (inside the house), while others will be sleeping in bed (Matthew 24:40–41; Luke 17:34–36). Joshua stated that the Lord Jesus also affirmed to him that no one knows the hour and the day on which He will come during the two days of the Feast of Trumpets.

Joshua said that the Lord Jesus further declared to him:

“On September 15, 2032, I will return to the earth as King.”

The remarkable thing is that from September 23, 2025, the Feast of Trumpets, until September 15, 2032, the Day of Atonement, there are exactly 2,550 days, coinciding with the prophecies in Daniel.

The number 2,550 days is derived from adding together two main time periods:

  • 1,260 days: This is the period of “a time, times, and half a time” (Daniel 7:25; 12:7), equivalent to 3.5 years (based on the biblical year of 360 days). It is the first half of the seven-year Great Tribulation and the time of the two witnesses preaching in Jerusalem (Revelation 11:3). During this period, the suffering in the world is caused by mankind itself: wars, epidemics, famine, and violence.

  • 1,290 days: Mentioned in Daniel 12:11, “And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.” This is the 1,260-day period—the second half of the seven-year Great Tribulation—after the Antichrist conquers Jerusalem and sets up his image in the Temple (Matthew 24:15), plus an additional 30 days.

Thus, 1,260 + 1,290 = 2,550 days, commonly understood as the extended period of the End Times (2,520 days plus 30 days of cleansing). After that comes 45 days of preparation for the Millennium Kingdom (Daniel 12:12).

We can see that the probability of the Lord Jesus taking the Church out of the world at the Feast of Trumpets 2025 is very high. After the 2025–2032 pair, which has exactly 2,550 days between the Feast of Trumpets and the Day of Atonement, the next pair of years is 2052–2059. That corresponds to the Feast of Trumpets on September 23, 2052, and the Day of Atonement on September 16, 2059. This time frame exceeds the 70- or 80-year limit of the generation that sees the fig tree of Israel sprout.

I posted on the Church’s Telegram channel, inviting the Church to watch Joshua’s proclamation video, and asked ChatGPT to translate the content of the video into Vietnamese for those who do not know English. Below that, I posted the following message:

Dear Church,

Aside from stating the timing of the Lord’s coming as September 23–24, 2025—which seems to contradict the Lord’s declaration: “But concerning that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father” (Mark 13:32)—everything Joshua shared does not contradict the Bible.

However, at the time when the Lord spoke those words, He had not yet completed His sacrificial death for atonement. The human nature of the Lord Jesus did not know the day or hour of His return. But now, having risen and fully existing in the nature of God, He naturally knows the exact day and hour of His return.

By His great mercy, He can raise up a person to inform the Church of the timing of His return so that the Church may be ready.

My opinion is this: Joshua’s sharing can be believed. We now have only about eight days left to see whether this word is true or not.

However, the important question is: Are we ready to go with the Lord at the upcoming Feast of Trumpets?

Some of God’s people raised this question:

“The Bible says the Lord will come like a thief, yet he (Joshua) says to proclaim it to the Church, and when posted online, everyone can see and know that He will come on the 23rd–24th. Does this not create a contradiction?”

And I responded:

“This is the issue!

Satan uses three methods to deceive mankind:

1. Present many true details mixed with a few false details. This method is used to deceive God’s people. When God’s people see someone preaching with many points that are true according to the Bible, they accept the entire preaching.

2. Present many false details mixed with a few true details. This method is used to deceive those with atheistic tendencies, giving them enough reason to reject the Bible when a few true biblical points are mixed with nonsense.

3. Present half false, half true. The false half consists of superstitions and the beliefs of worldly religions; the true half consists of the truths of the Bible. This method is used for those following worldly religions, making them believe in the Lord while also believing in lies.

If Joshua’s proclamation is false, it would fall under method 1. The assertion that the Lord will come on September 23–24 would be the false detail.”

If:

Joshua’s proclamation is true; it can be understood as follows:

1. For the people of Israel, the day of the Feast of Trumpets (the first day of the first month) remains a day whose exact date is unknown until the two witnesses observe the new moon appear on the horizon.

2. The statement of the Lord Jesus recorded in Mark 13:32—”But concerning that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father”—applies only to the period before the Lord Jesus’ resurrection. At that time, although He was fully God, He had set aside His divine nature to exist in human nature. In His human nature, He did not know the day or hour of His return. He only knew the timing of His return after Israel was reestablished as a nation and regained sovereignty over Jerusalem. That is why He gave the parable of the fig tree to answer His disciples regarding His coming and the end times.

Since the resurrection, the Lord Jesus has restored His divine nature and therefore naturally knows the exact day and hour of His return. Otherwise, He would not be God, for God is omniscient.

3. If the Lord Jesus decides to reveal to the Church in particular and to all mankind in general the exact hour and day of His coming to take the Church out of the world, this in no way contradicts the Bible. Rather, it is an extraordinary blessing He grants to the Church.

4. Joshua did not say that he calculated the day of the Lord’s coming; he simply relayed the message given by the Lord. Thus, he does not know the hour and day of the Lord’s coming—he was revealed to by God. The Bible affirms that in the last days, sons and daughters of God’s people will prophesy (Acts 2:17).

Therefore, we cannot yet assert whether Joshua’s proclamation is false or true. But we hope that the Lord Jesus will come soon so that we may enter heaven promptly.

What is important for God’s people is to live each day and each hour as if it were the last day, the final hour, before the Lord comes.

Another of God’s people commented:

“I think the Lord will not come on the 23rd–24th of this month. For no one knows the day or hour of His coming. I think the Lord will come on a day that no one expects, and no one in the world can predict.”

I replied:

“If we assert that the Lord will not come on September 23–24 this year, we also fall into the case of “setting a date,” just like those who try to determine the day of the Lord’s coming themselves.

But Joshua did not predict; he simply relayed what he said the Lord revealed to him. He also did not claim to be a prophet (implying that he is merely one of the sons and daughters who will prophesy in the last days).

The Lord may come on any day, but it is almost certain that He will come on a day of the Feast of Trumpets. The two Feast of Trumpets days of greatest interest are in 2026 and 2027, especially 2026, because that is immediately before the spiritual resurrection of Israel on the Feast of Firstfruits in 2027. The Church will be taken out of the world before God resumes His program with Israel.

In addition, online there are many people reporting that in dreams, visions, or even after dying and coming back to life, they saw the Lord Jesus reveal to them that He will come during this year’s Feast of Trumpets.

Never before in human history has the Lord’s coming to take the Church out of the world become such a prominent current event as it is today.

If:

1. The Lord truly comes during this year’s Feast of Trumpets, it will be a great blessing He grants to the Church, for many people are awake and repentant through Joshua’s testimony. It will also serve as a way to silence those who do not believe in the Lord when they try to explain the sudden disappearance of millions.

2. The Lord does not come during this year’s Feast of Trumpets, it will be a lesson for the Church: from now on, do not focus on proclamations of the day of His coming, but devote yourselves to living as if the Lord will come in the next breath.

Whether the Lord comes or does not come during this year’s Feast of Trumpets, the truth that He will come to take the Church out of the world remains unchanged. And certainly, that day is not far off.

The sermon “The Feast of Trumpets and the Blessed Hope” was begun by me for compilation two weeks ago, but the idea originated around mid-August. Just yesterday, I saw Joshua’s testimony video on YouTube.

It is very likely that we will remain in our present physical bodies for only about one more week.

Throughout that day, Sunday, 14/09/2025, I watched countless YouTube videos of many people testifying that they were confirmed by the Lord through dreams or visions that Joshua’s proclamation is true. That is, the Lord Jesus will come to take the Church out of the world during this year’s Feast of Trumpets, on September 23–24, 2025.

I also saw news videos showing that the government of Israel has decided to celebrate the Feast of Trumpets solemnly on September 24, 2025, broadcasting it worldwide. One hundred shofar horns will be blown simultaneously. This is the first time in Israel’s history, since its reestablishment as a nation on May 14, 1948, that such an event will occur [2].

I also saw videos about the United Nations convening for world peace starting on September 22, 2025. It is very possible that during this meeting, the Antichrist and the ten kings will be introduced, along with the signing of a peace treaty. I had to watch those videos at 2X speed to save time.

Additionally, I saw a YouTube video comparing the time in Israel and various parts of the world at the start of the days of September 23 and 24, 2025.

Then I sent a message on Telegram to the Church:

“According to the content of the video, the Feast of Trumpets 2025 will begin at 6:36 PM on 23/09/2025, stepping into the start of 24/09/2025. That is when everywhere in the world will have entered either September 23 or 24, 2025.

Also on 23/09/2025, the United Nations will convene and may vote to partition the land of Canaan to establish the nation of Palestine, hoping to bring peace to the Middle East. If they sign the resolution at 11:36 AM on 23/09/2025, it will coincide with the blowing of the shofar in Jerusalem to announce the new moon and mark the beginning of the Feast of Trumpets.

At that time, the UN’s “peace” resolution will fulfill the Word of God in 1 Thessalonians 5:3, “For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, just as labor pains upon the woman that is pregnant, and they shall by no means escape.”

Because at the same moment the Lord takes the Church out of the world, many accidents will occur, as numerous planes and vehicles will be without operators. Not to mention that major earthquakes and volcanic eruptions may occur worldwide at the same time.

Thanks be to the Lord, who comforts His people also in 1 Thessalonians 5:4, “But you, brothers, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.”

Dear Church,

Therefore, from this very moment, let each of us humble ourselves before the Lord, asking the Holy Spirit to examine our hearts so that we may confess any sins we have not yet confessed, that the blood of the Lord may cleanse us and make us ready for the day the Christ comes.”

After that, I saw a video evaluating and affirming Joshua’s proclamation as true [3]. I posted it on the Church’s Telegram channel for everyone to watch, along with ChatGPT’s Vietnamese translation. Here are a few important excerpts:

“The third possibility is that Joshua is truly speaking the truth. And here is why I believe that. The simplest and greatest reason I believe Joshua’s message is simply the results we are seeing across the world. Hundreds of new YouTube channels are sharing confirmations of Joshua’s message. And because most who receive visions and dreams do not make them public, there may well be thousands of independent confirmations across many countries, cultures, and languages. One thing is that believers receive confirmation through visions, dreams, and signs. But when many innocent children also have dreams about the Rapture this September, that is an entirely different level of confirmation.”

. . .

“What is astonishing is the enthusiasm from people who previously knew nothing about the Rapture, who now are sharing visions and dreams. There is a desire for the Second Coming of Christ like never before, at least based on what I have seen. And the miracle is that many who once mocked and doubted are now eagerly anticipating and even sharing their personal confirmations from the dreams and signs the Lord has shown them.

The Lord is surpassing human reasoning and even causing skeptics to re-examine their belief systems and understanding of the end times.

My question is, would Satan encourage this? Could the enemy’s plan be to make the Church pray more, long for the Lord Jesus more, and be bolder, united, and in unison awaiting His appearance? Does this make sense? Can a divided kingdom stand?”

. . .

“In my view, Joshua’s words are the dividing line for this generation. He does not speak for personal gain, but the result of his words has stirred a longing for Christ and His Second Coming that we have never seen before. Truly, the body of Christ has risen in boldness and unity, with one Spirit confirming the time and season in which we were born and are living.

Rise up in faith, so that our hearts and lamps continue to burn brightly while rejoicing in anticipation of His glorious appearing.”

During the following two days, Monday and Tuesday, I continued to spend time watching many videos of people testifying through dreams and visions that they were confirmed by the Lord that Joshua’s proclamation is true. On 16/09/2025, I sent the following message on Telegram to the Church:

“Dear Church,

1. After 19/09/2025, I will stop posting topics for meditating on the Word of God.

2. On the Sabbath, 20/09/2025, I will share about the phenomenon of so many people affirming that they have been given signs, words, dreams, visions, and confirmations from the Lord that He will come during the Feast of Trumpets 2025.

3. Starting at 6:00 PM on 20/09/2025 in Texas, when the Sabbath ends, I will fast and pray for three days, ending after 6:00 PM on 23/09/2025.

4. From 10:00 AM on 23/09/2025 (Texas time, equivalent to 10:00 PM on 23/09/2025 in Vietnam), I will regularly update news on the Church’s Telegram channel.”

My and Priscilla’s faith regarding the Lord’s coming is as follows:

1. The Lord can come at any time.

2. But it can be said with certainty that He will come on a day of the Feast of Trumpets. That is a day whose exact hour and date no one knows until the two witnesses see the new moon appear.

The seven feasts in the Old Testament are foreshadows of the spiritual ministries of the Christ.

The four spring feasts have been fulfilled:

    • Passover (the atoning death of Christ).

    • Feast of Unleavened Bread (new life for those who receive the Gospel).

    • Feast of Firstfruits (the resurrection of Christ and the Church).

    • And the Feast of Pentecost (the establishment of the Church).

The three autumn feasts have not yet been fulfilled:

    • Feast of Trumpets (the gathering of God’s people, the Lord taking the Church out of the world).

    • Day of Atonement (the conclusion of the End Times).

    • Feast of Tabernacles (the establishment of the Millennial Kingdom)

The eighth day following the Feast of Tabernacles is a Sabbath, symbolizing the era of the new heavens and new earth of the Eternal Kingdom and the eternal rest of God’s people.

3. Up to now, I see that Joshua’s proclamation does not contradict the Bible in any way. Therefore, I accept it. But if the Lord does not come during this year’s Feast of Trumpets, I understand that He allows this to awaken God’s people so they will be ready for His coming, which is very near.

4. I wholeheartedly hope that the Lord will come during this year’s Feast of Trumpets so that we may soon enter eternal glory. I pray that none among you, brothers and sisters, will be left behind on the day of the Lord’s coming. Amen!

On 17/09/2025, I saw a YouTube video interviewing Joshua 14 days before the Feast of Trumpets [4]. I also shared it with the Church on Telegram. In the video, Joshua once again affirmed his proclamation. He further stated that:

“Regarding the 23rd, I will not ask the sisters for their opinions, but I will act directly all day. I will not livestream on the 24th because I will not be present. If anyone is left behind during the livestream, it means they will be left behind.

Remember the different time zones: Australia and Asia will be on the 24th, while South Africa, Israel, and the U.S. will be on the 23rd. The Lord will use both days, so everyone will be taken up according to their own time zone.

I will livestream all day because many people say, “We want to see what you say on the 25th,” or “You will disappear on the 25th,” or they will fabricate reasons to explain why the Rapture does not occur. I am not going anywhere; I want to observe everyone watching the livestream.

If the Rapture occurs during the livestream, I want to drink coffee. While I drink coffee, I will be taken up. I do not know; those who remain will probably just hold a cup of coffee. But my prayer is that I drink coffee and the Rapture happens right during the livestream. I hope it can happen because I want everyone to see that the Lord exists.”

Joshua also stated that many years ago, he had a vision in which he saw a spacecraft landing on Earth and a false Christ stepping out of it.

Many people cite 2 Thessalonians 2:1–4 to argue that the Antichrist must be revealed before the Christ takes the Church out of the world:

1 Now, brothers, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we beseech you,

2 not to be quickly shaken from your mind, nor be disturbed, neither by spirit nor by word nor by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ has come.

3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is unveiled, the son of perdition,

4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called *God, or every object of worship, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

This misunderstanding arises from thinking that “the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” is the same as “our gathering together to Him.” We previously understood it that way too and assumed that the Antichrist had already been revealed in the world in a limited sense. That is, the Antichrist was revealed in the world among those aligned with Satan’s power, just as Christ was revealed in the world to the shepherds and the wise men from the East.

However, according to the context of Scripture, “the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” is entirely different from “our gathering together to Him.”

“Our gathering together to Him” will occur before “the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” on Earth at the end of the End Times. When we read 2 Thessalonians 2:5–8, it becomes clear that the Antichrist will appear “after” the Church has been taken up:

5 Do you not remember that while I was still with you, I was telling you these things?

6 And now you know that which is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time.

7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will continue until one comes out of the midst.

The one who restrains the Antichrist mentioned in verses 6 and 7 is God the Holy Spirit dwelling within the Church. Only when the Church is taken out of the world, and the Holy Spirit no longer restrains the Antichrist, will he be revealed to the entire world. Verse 8 makes it clear that the coming of Christ occurs at the end of the End Times to destroy the Antichrist.

“The day of Christ” is the day He will descend to Earth to bring the End Times to a close. That day is entirely different from the day the Church is gathering together to Christ.

The event of a person publicly declaring that the Lord Jesus revealed to him that He will come during the Feast of Trumpets 2025 is unprecedented. Likewise, the phenomenon of thousands of people worldwide, of all ages, testifying that they received dreams or visions confirming Joshua’s proclamation is also an unprecedented event.

Among those who claimed to have received such confirmations, I observed that many clearly did not receive them from the Lord. Some believed that the Virgin Mary had confirmed it to them and advised them to pray with the rosary. Others thought they were confirmed when seeing license plates or signs with the numbers 923 or 239, etc. There are even people who completely fabricated testimonies to “bait viewers.” However, I believe there are people who genuinely received dreams and visions.

The key question is whether the Lord Jesus truly appeared and spoke to Joshua about His coming to take the Church during this year’s Feast of Trumpets, or whether it was Satan impersonating the Lord Jesus. Are the dreams and visions confirming Joshua’s proclamation from God, or are they also from Satan’s deception? The answer can only be confirmed after 09/24/2025.

There is one thing no one can deny: Joshua’s proclamation has awakened many of God’s people, leading them to repentance, confession, and preparation to be ready to go with the Lord. They have also promised themselves that even if the Lord does not come during this year’s Feast of Trumpets, they will maintain the renewed life of holiness until the day Christ truly comes.

Up to now, our hearts are at peace with Joshua’s message, and we are ready for the coming of the Christ to take the Church out of the world.

We borrow the words of an online user to conclude here:

“If Joshua is deceiving everyone, I believe it is better to be deceived in order to repent, become holy, and be ready, rather than to be deceived into indulgence and unpreparedness.

The essence of Joshua’s message is to prepare for the imminent Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Dear friends, let us prepare together for the Rapture of the Saints. You will lose nothing if you prepare, but you will lose everything if you do not.

May the Lord abundantly bless you, Joshua.”

May the Word of God sanctify us and strengthen us. May we all stand firm in faith and remain faithful to the Lord until the day Christ returns. May the love, grace, and fellowship of the Triune God, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, cover all of you. Amen!

About Using “God” or “the God” and “holy spirit”

Wherever the Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek texts of the Bible uses a definite article with a noun to denote GOD, we translate it into English as “*God” or “the God” to refer to God the Father. We understand that “God,” without a definite article, was used as a collective noun for all and any of the three Persons of the Godhead. And “God,” with a definite article, was used to refer to God the Father.

In the Greek manuscripts of the New Testament, the term “holy spirit” (πνευματι αγιω) without the definite article “the” (το) is used to denote the power of God, which is given by God the Holy Spirit. “The Holy Spirit” (το πνευματι το αγιω) is God, and “holy spirit” (πνευματι αγιω) is the power that comes from God.
