Signs Before the Coming of Christ

In the prophecy of the Lord Jesus Christ about His coming and the end of the age, recorded by Luke, there is mention of what will happen before that, as follows:

“Then said He unto them, “Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines and pestilences. And fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.” (Luke 21:10-11).

The coming of Christ to take the Church out of the world will occur before the End Times. The things the Lord Jesus Christ prophesied are signs to indicate that the time of His coming for the Church is very near. Although no one knows the day and hour when Christ will appear in the heavens to take the Church up with Him, when they see the things the Lord Jesus foretold happening, everyone will understand that the time for the coming of Christ has arrived.

We think that the above prophecy of the Lord Jesus Christ began to be fulfilled at the beginning of the 20th century, on the very first day of January 1, 1901, when the Church began to enter the great apostasy with the “Speaking in Tongues” movement and later the “Slain in the Spirit” movement [1]. These two movements have continued to this day through the Charismatic, Pentecostal, and other denominations that have come out of them. The heresy that teaches about “Speaking in Tongues” and “Slaying in the Spirit,” called “baptism in the Holy Spirit,” for more than 100 years has caused hundreds of millions of people who call themselves God’s people to receive a demonic spirit into their bodies, influencing their minds.

As for war, since World War I occurred in the period from July 28, 1914, to November 11, 1918, with about 20 million deaths, the world has increasingly seen nations rise against nations and kingdoms against kingdoms. Following World War I was World War II, which occurred from September 1, 1939, to September 2, 1945, with about 75 million deaths. This was also the first time that nuclear bombs were used to destroy the cities of Hiroshima (August 6, 1945) and Nagasaki (August 9, 1945) in Japan. Since then, there have been more than 40 major wars occurring in various parts of the world. Among them was the ideological civil war in Vietnam for more than 20 years, with about 3.4 million deaths. Currently, there are two major wars, one in Eastern Europe between Russia and Ukraine and one in the Middle East between Israel and the Islamic terrorist forces in the Middle East, which could lead to World War III, with the death toll reaching hundreds of millions.

As for earthquakes, from the 20th century to the present, earthquakes have been increasing all over the world. There have been earthquakes that have killed hundreds of thousands of people [2], [3].

As for famine, from the 20th century to the present, billions of people have died of starvation, and there are still people dying of hunger all over the world [4], [5].

As for diseases, from the 20th century to the present, billions of people have died from epidemics [6], [7]. The most recent one is the COVID-19 pandemic, which broke out at the end of 2019 and is still not over. Meanwhile, a new bird flu has just emerged, spreading from chickens to cattle and from cattle to humans, with a transmission rate hundreds of times faster than COVID-19 and a mortality rate of over 50%.

As for fearful sights, perhaps these are the sightings of strange objects flying in the sky, commonly known as UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects), which also began to occur in the early 20th century [8]. We believe these are signs created by demons to lead people away from the truth about the coming of Christ and the End Times. In reality, it has created a movement that believes there is an alien race from another planet. The movement believes that this alien race has a civilization far more advanced than the human race on Earth and will help the human race on Earth achieve the same level of civilization and progress as them.

As for the great signs, we understand that these are celestial phenomena such as blood moons, that is, total lunar eclipses; and total solar eclipses; and comets; and solar storms that create auroras. Although lunar eclipses, solar eclipses, and comet appearances can be calculated in advance, the fact that they have occurred in quick succession in the 21st century makes them worthy of being seen as signs, indicating that the time of Christ’s coming to take the Church out of the world is very near.

This year, a major total solar eclipse will occur on Monday, April 8, 2024, over three North American countries: Mexico, the United States, and Canada. Within the United States alone, the solar eclipse will occur in over 15 states, beginning in the southwestern state of Texas and ending in the northeastern state of Maine [9]. This will be the second time in U.S. history that a total solar eclipse has occurred over multiple states. The first time was on Monday, August 21, 2017, in over 14 states [10]. That solar eclipse was called the “Great American Eclipse.” The solar eclipse that will occur on April 8, 2024, is also being called the “Great American Eclipse.”

We also know that a total solar eclipse occurs when the moon is closest to the Earth and aligned with the Earth and the sun. When viewed from Earth, the moon completely obscures the sun, turning daylight into darkness for a few minutes.

The solar eclipse on April 8, 2024, is very special for the following reasons:

The local authorities of the cities and states in the U.S., as well as the city of Toronto in Canada, where the total solar eclipse will be visible, have declared a state of emergency for that day. The authorities have called on the public to stock up on food, water, medicine, and fuel for two weeks; to avoid going out on that day; schools will be closed; many flights will be rescheduled; local police and the National Guard will be on high alert. This has never happened with previous solar eclipses.
CERN (Conseil Européen pour la Recherche Nucléaire – European Organization for Nuclear Research) will restart the proton collisions on April 8, 2024. The purpose is to break apart protons to find dark matter particles that scientists believe are the secret power controlling the universe [11]. In theory, the collision of protons could create a tiny black hole. CERN scientists claim that even if a tiny black hole is formed, it will not be harmful. But many other scientists argue that the creation of a black hole could bring about the destruction of the planet.
NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) will launch three rockets into the shadow of the moon on the solar eclipse day to study how the sudden loss of sunlight affects the atmosphere [12].
A comet nicknamed the “Devil’s Comet” and the “Mother of Dragons” will appear near the sun and may be visible to the naked eye during the solar eclipse. This is the reappearance of this comet on a 71-year cycle [13]. It is called the “Devil’s Comet” because it has the shape of two horns.
In April 2024, hundreds of billions, even trillions, of cicadas will emerge from the ground, covering the central and southern United States up to the north-central United States, across 17 states. Cicadas come in two types, one emerging from the ground every 13 years and the other every 17 years. The last time the two types emerged from the ground on the same day in the U.S. was in 1803. 2024 will be the second time both types of cicadas have emerged from the ground on the same day in the U.S. since 1803. Therefore, the number will reach hundreds of billions of cicadas. Cicadas will devastate young trees and crops because their food is the sap of plants. They suck the sap from the plants.
Israel may perform a red heifer sacrifice in April 2024. The altar has been built. The red heifer has appeared in Texas after nearly two thousand years of absence. In September 2022, five red heifers were brought to Israel to be raised. One of the five was disqualified because it had a blemish. The remaining four are ready for the sacrifice and must be offered in 2024 before they are over the age requirement [14], [15]. The masters of the Temple Institute in Israel hope to be able to offer the sacrifice of the red heifer before Passover 2024, which falls on April 22, 2024. Immediately after the sacrifice of the red heifer, the people of Israel may continue the daily sacrifices at that altar, and they may build the Tabernacle in Shiloh to worship God while awaiting the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem. The restoration of worship of God in the Tabernacle is a sign that Israel is ready for the spiritual resurrection prophesied in Hosea 6:1-2 [16], [17].
The war in the Middle East, according to Psalm 83, may occur at any time in 2024. On Monday, April 1, 2024, Israel struck the Iranian consulate building in Syria, killing the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran along with many other senior officers. Iran has vowed retaliation. Iran has moved missile launchers towards the border, ready to launch them at targets in Israel. [18], [19].

Many people have made the following observations:

The two total solar eclipses over the United States, called the “Great American Eclipse,” occurring on August 21, 2017 and April 8, 2024, are so named because they cross the entire territory of the United States, from west to east and from south to north.
The paths of these two solar eclipses intersect to form an X shape over the United States, with the city named Rapture, which means “the Rapture,” at the intersection. There is only one city in the world named Rapture, located in the state of Indiana [20], [21].
The X shape is the form of the last letter of the ancient Hebrew alphabet [22].
The “Devil’s Comet” appears during the April 8, 2024, solar eclipse.
Therefore, the two “Great American Eclipses” can be seen as signs from heaven, marking the imminent coming of Christ to take the Church out of the world, “the rapture.” And the appearance of the Devil’s Comet is a sign from heaven, marking the appearance of the Antichrist.

Moreover, in June 2023, the team in charge of the James Webb Space Telescope in Europe released an image of a “question mark in space” taken by the telescope. Astronomers say it may be an image of two or three galaxies merging [22]. But from a theological perspective, it may be a sign that God is sending to humanity, asking if they know that the End Times are coming and if they are ready to repent and be saved [23].

In fact, the current world situation makes us feel that a dark force is preparing for the formation of a global government. The most notable event is the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations, which includes 17 sustainable development goals. This resolution has been accepted by all member countries of the United Nations, except the Vatican. This may also be the reason why the Antichrist will destroy the Vatican, as prophesied in Revelation 17 and 18.

We believe that the total solar eclipse over the United States on August 21, 2017 seven years ago and the total solar eclipse that will occur on April 8, 2024, along with the consecutive Blood Moons occurring during the Feasts of the Lord from 2022 until now, are all great signs from heaven, announcing the imminent coming of Christ for His Church. The event of Christ’s coming to take the Church out of the world is also the final sign for the beginning of the End Times.

We hope that each child of God who hears or reads this writing will wholeheartedly prepare to welcome the coming of Christ. We also hope that each unbeliever who hears or reads this writing will wholeheartedly repent of their sins, believe in the atoning death of the Lord Jesus, be saved from this world, and enter heaven on the day Christ comes for His Church.

May the Word of God sanctify us and strengthen us. May we all hold fast to our faith and be faithful to the Lord until the day Christ comes.
