Resolve to Follow the Lord

“Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in.” (Isaiah 26:2)

I resolve to follow the Lord,
Throughout my life, His path I’ll tread.
Though difficulties may arise,
I’ll not hesitate, but press ahead.

In hardships, I’ll cling close to Him,
His guidance, strength, my faith intact.
With Him beside me, peace I find,
Even when storms my steps impact.

Not dismayed, I’ll lean on His arm,
Certain He’ll carry me along.
Through spiritual journey’s winding road,
His counsel deep, our bond grows strong.

Joy flows from walking with the Lord,
Each word of His I’ll cherish dear.
Hoping for heaven’s sweet embrace,
Where saints sing joyful songs so clear.

I resolve to follow the Lord,
No matter what may come my way.
Overcoming trials, hand in hand,
His strength will see me through each day.
