Far from Your presence, my Father, my light,

Patient, my soul waits, yearning for Your gaze,

You sought me when lost, Your hand reaching down,
Lifting me from suffering where I might drown.

Your grace is my anchor, forgiving and true,
My sins washed away like morning’s dew.
In Your steadfast love I’ve found my home,
A refuge unshaken wherever I roam.

Let me love You wholly, now and forever more,
My devotion unwavering from shore to shore.
I pledge my faith through all of my days,
My spirit remembering Your countless ways.
