Lord, Keep Me Close, Let Me Not Stray

In moments of folly, when sin beckons near,
My steps falter, and Your presence fades.
My heart, heavy with sorrow and regret,
Bows low, seeking Your boundless grace.

I plead for forgiveness, a chance to renew,
To draw closer to Your loving embrace.
Your love, an endless river, flows free,
Washing over me with eternal grace.

Oh Lord, anchor me firmly to Your side.
My heart turns to You, a compass true,
Yearning for Your unceasing love.
May Your holy light illuminate my soul,
As I gratefully receive Your daily blessings,
Living each moment in Your divine grace.

On this spiritual journey, You are my guide,
The shepherd who tends my wayward soul.
I fix my gaze upon Your guiding star,
Forever mindful of Your gracious gifts,
Finding joy and contentment in Your presence.

Lord, keep me close, let me not stray,
For in Your love, I find my way.
