Poem: For Jesus

For Jesus

I am crucified with Christ, and I live, yet no longer I, but Christ lives in me. And that I now live in the flesh, I live in faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” (Galatian 2:17)

I rely on You, my heart full of trust.
In Your love, I find my daily crust.
I vow to follow, my life Yours to claim.
Through hardship and trials, You remain the same.

By my side always, unwavering You stand.
Steadfast I’ll be, guided by Your hand.
Obedient and trusting, Your Word I heed.
Your grace I receive, Your Word I seed.

Awaiting the day we’ll meet in the air,
Following You to heaven, free from care.
In joy everlasting, I’ll dwell above.
My heart ever waiting, filled with Your love.

For Jesus! For Jesus! My life I’ll spend.
Vowing to serve You until the end.
Never ceasing, always in Your sight.
Living for You with all my might.

Humbly I ask, guide each step I take,
On the path of righteousness, for Your sake.
Hold me always, keep me in Your fold,
With You beside me, peace and joy I hold.
