This heart always remembers
The Lord by my side,
Never leaving, though sorrow
Like shadows may ride.
Through valleys and mountains,
He tenderly guides,
A shepherd who leads me
Through time’s flowing tide.

This heart always remembers
Each word to obey,
Never parting from Him
As I walk day by day.
My soul finds its joy in
The warmth of His grace,
Forever following,
Seeking His face.

My heart will remember
The path leading home,
His grace like a beacon
Through darkness I roam.
His love shines so brightly,
Illuming my way;
For Him alone living,
For His glory I pray.
