Through passing days and years that flee,
I sank in sorrow’s deep debris.

Here I kneel, my spirit turning,
To the Lord, for mercy yearning.
Please forgive what I have done,
Restore me, make me wholly one.

My heart overflows with wonder—
Your love breaks sin’s heavy thunder.
You graciously forgive my past,
Your faithful care will always last.

My soul rejoices in Your light,
My spirit worships day and night.
In You I find my sacred place,
From now on, held in Your embrace.

Here I kneel in grateful prayer,
My spirit lifted in Your care.
