My heart earnestly loves the Lord Jesus,
I only long to live for Him alone.
By His grace and tender mercy,
He redeemed me from all sorrow,
Now I dwell in peaceful rest.

Though my life is filled with trials and pain,
The Lord in love keeps me safe and sound.
My heart will ever remain faithful,
My heart will always love the Lord.
Please, Lord, never turn from me.

To be loved and sheltered by Him,
To have Him walk with me along this spiritual path,
To be guided and led by Him day and night—
I ask to forever stay close by His side.

This heart is always at peace,
For He is near and never far away.
His love for me forever remains,
And nothing compares to the love of the Lord.
