The Lord’s Waiting Love

The Lord’s love knows no measure,
Down to earth He came,
Bearing countless sorrows,
Suffering without blame.

Upon the cross He offered
His life for sinners all,
A sacrifice unblemished—
He answered mercy’s call.

How boundless is His kindness,
Unchanging through the years,
His compassion flows eternal
To dry repentant tears.

O weary souls, draw nearer
To love that waits for you,
The Lord keeps constant vigil
With grace forever true.

Why linger in hesitation
When peace awaits your heart?
Trust in His gentle promise—
A new life can now start.
