Co to m\u00e1 spole\u010dn\u00e9ho se spalov\u00e1n\u00edm na\u0161ich satelit\u016f?<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And what can you do if that happened tomorrow? It wouldn\u2019t be the solar flares that sent us back into the pre-technological era. It\u2019d be the giant clouds of hot plasma and electromagnetic radiation that the sun spews out.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #333399;\">A co m\u016f\u017eete d\u011blat, kdy\u017e se to stane z\u00edtra? In 2012, a powerful CME shot through the earth\u2019s orbit. That\u2019s really all there was for technology at the time. But now? Our entire planet is deeply reliant on electricity and electronics. If a solar storm that strong were to strike today, we\u2019d be in a much worse situation. How bad would it be?<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #333399;\">Telegrafovat. Jak \u0161patn\u00e9 to bude?<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It would start with an enormous explosion on the sun\u2019s surface. Then, the solar flare would zap the earth\u2019s upper atmosphere with a giant electromagnetic pulse.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #333399;\">Za\u010dne to obrovskou exploz\u00ed na povrchu slunce. Their 3-day forecast would give us a heads up if our star looked suspicious. We might have time to disconnect transformers and switch the satellites into a safe mode. But you better pack up an emergency kit with food and money, just in case.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #333399;\">NASA a Space Weather Prediction Center nad\u00e1le sleduj\u00ed aktivitu na\u0161eho Slunce.
